Beach Area

On the beach you can hire sun beds and umbrellas. The water is very shallow and the sea bottom is flat and sandy making it the ideal place for children.

A road runs along the top of the beach, although there is not much traffic, and next to the road can be found a number of shops, bars and tavernas where you can take a leisurely drink or have something to eat. These are also a good place to sit in the evening to watch the sunset.

Places Nearby

Within close proximity of the Rainbow you will find everything you need for the perfect holiday. There are shops, supermarkets, bars, tavernas, a bakery and the seafront, where you can find boat hire, pedalos, water sports and the beautiful golden sandy beach.

If you like a good walk then you could go North over the headland and in around 30 minutes you could be in St. Stefanos, which also has a nice sandy beach. A similar amount of walking going South would bring you to the village of Afionas. Situated up in the hills, Afionas affords wonderful views over Arillas Bay. Walk a bit further to the South and you will come to St. George and yet another lovely sandy beach.

If you have a car available then you can reach all of these in just a few minutes.

Further Away

If you are looking to spend some time in a much bigger and busier resort, with more shops, eating places and loads of nightlife, then Sidari is around 15 to 20 minutes away by car or taxi.

If you are into some serious shopping then a trip to Corfu Town could well be the answer. There are a number of travel agents in Arillas who can book you a place on one of the organised trips to town, or if you have a car then you could drive yourself, although this will take around 45 minutes. For the really adventurous, there is always the bus. But beware... there is only one per day and it leaves very early in the morning!
